Eluma Lighting

Eluma provides lighting solutions that give businesses optimum control over Energy costs, Carbon emissions and Risk. Eluma is a range of High Performance, energy-efficient luminaires that use sophisticated photometric design to deliver required lux levels with good quality, evenly distributed light from the latest Fluorescent lamp technology. Performance is further enhanced through each luminaire having its own highly configurable intelligent sensor that not only monitors and reacts to occupancy through Passive Infra-red, but also responds to ambient light.


In 90% of all installations, our customers have experienced savings between 70 - 80% of and very typically see paybacks on their investment of between 1-2 years.

How does Eluma work?

The Eluma delivers phenomenal results such as these through using only the highest performance components available today, innovative patented design, high quality manufacturing processes and a global network of distributors and installers. Collectively these components create the most configurable luminaire available today giving our customers control over light levels down to 1% increments. So what does that really mean? It means that as an example having lighting levels at 200 lux in a warehouse when you only need 150 translates in the real world to using approximately 33% more energy than is necessary, with Eluma this never happens, in the same way as nobody ever forgets to turn the lights off when they are not needed.

What will I notice?

Great light quality, Eluma's high output means that you will notice a better quality light than you might be used to from either a standard fluorescent, metal halide or SON. The light colour from Eluma is a closer spectral match to sunlight


Less glare, An even, linear light source with less glare makes for a better working environment, especially for those repeatedly looking up towards the ceiling; such as, for example, a forklift driver.


Less light degradation over time (lumen maintenance) means that the Eluma which uses T5 Technology enjoys excellent lumen maintenance with light levels typically only degrading approximately 5% over the lifetime of the lamps.


Instant strike, Eluma luminaires can be switched on and off as required, and do not need additional time to warm up and reach full brightness, ensuring that switching on and off is a realistic option in the work place.


Much lower energy bills over that of other lighting technologies and because the Eluma runs very close to ambient temperature, our installations often reducing load on HVAC systems when replacing inefficient metal halide other technologies.


Lower operational costs through the increased lumen maintenance meaning that lamps only need replacing at end of life and not because they have degraded to such a low level that they are no longer delivering light levels that are compliant with Health and safety guidelines.


Fewer luminaires needed due to the high performance nature of the Eluma range. Very often a single Eluma delivers the required light levels where 2 or 3 older luminaires may once have existed.


Lower carbon footprint because the more the light is off or dimmed to its minimum required the less energy is used
